I had leftover from my lunch meal and I had to take it down to he front desk for them to heat. When I asked the girl why there wasn't a microwave she said that they offer 2 restaurants so she didn't see the need for microwaves. "This hotel was exceptional. They were kind enough to leave flowers in my room because I was in town to attend a funeral and the lovely gentleman in the lounge that comforted me as I was a little teary while having my dinner was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel."

"We love this hotel! It feels smaller and very service oriented. The staff were amazing! The Gold service was absolutely excellent with a wonderful breakfast each day and friendly and professional Concierge. The location of the Fairmont Winnipeg is also perfect for all sorts of walking or exploring cafes, bars and restaurants in the Exchange District. Love it!"

"Entire property was run down including the rooms. Was like being in a hotel from the 1980’s. Entire place smelt like smoke, hot tub had hair and clumps of something floating around, pool water was very low and stains all over the hallway carpets. Felt like an incredibly unsafe area especially for a solo traveller as evidenced by the drug users coming into the hotel lobby to use the ATM. “Breakfast” option, was very disappointing. As someone who has travelled extensively, this is easily the worst...
