"Superb period property retaining a lot of original features, exceptionally clean and well maintained.
Freindly staff, on site restaurant serving incredible food. Parking off site but secure, 5 minutes walk to the centre of the town where there are numerous places to dine.
An excellent location and place to stay."
"Very good experience except for the difficulty in gaining access to the hotel late in the evening but the young night porter was exceptionally helpful and pleasant.

"We were the only people in this chateau which was nice but kind of weird. They just reopened we were told. I liked my room; the mattress was very comfortable and the fabric on the walls was very elegant. It was a little tight with the queen bed but it was fine. The bathroom was fine apart from the 1/2 circle shower which I continuously banged into while showering. Other than that it was fine. The staff was very nice and helpful. Nothing around this place; in the middle of nowhere. "
"My wife and I enjoyed our 5 night stay in Poignardiere so much! Lovely place, beautiful garden with impressive trees and fine swimmingpool. Excellent service, such nice owners!

Breakfast poor: we only got a bottle of milk no juice in the refrigerator.
Our room has no air conditioner , has a fan instead.
Disappointed ,room doesn’t look anything like pictures shown
Windows has no screen, so when we open to get fresh air, bugs flown in. Fortunately we only stay one night otherwise I wouldn’t stay longer."
