"I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel in Fontainebleau. Although I had a busy schedule and did not have much time to interact with the staff, the two receptionists I met at check in and check out made a great impression.
Both were exceptionally kind, professional, and helpful. They took the time to assist me with everything I needed and made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. Their positive attitude and excellent service contributed greatly to my stay.

"Very kind and helpful staff in reception, bar and breakfast room. Nice but small room at 4th floor. Very good and large bed, very small bathroom, air conditioning working fine. QUIET which is very important. Good breakfast. Practical parking nearby. We were very satisfied."
"The air con was broken which was a big problem with 3 small children and record Paris temperatures. Fair enough, things can break but it is the way the staff dealt with it on check in.
I asked if anything can be done or compensation offered to which she said the only thing that can be done if you are not happy with the room is to go to another hotel. A poor response considering we had arrived at 9pm with 3 tired small children. They knew the air con was broken all day, if this was to be their argument they should have phoned guests to at least give them the opportunity to book another hotel.
There were other small problems which I would not normally complain about to be honest but given the frustrations above I will. The room door was stuck which meant we had to go back to reception to get them to open the door. There was space either side of the double bed for a bedside table but there was only one bedside table. For a spa hotel I would expect conditioner in the showers.
We have stayed at great mercure hotels in the past but the overall experience was poor at this one. Breakfast was good and the staff, friendly."

"We booked 3 rooms and two had no air conditioning working. Reported the fault, a man arrived, shook his head, said sorry and left. Never saw or heard of anyone again. Not bothered that it was 30 degrees in our room. Two of our three couples spend a very very uncomfortable 2 nights, one couple even had a baby with them. Nobody offered fans etc we had to eventually ask for one on the second afternoon but only the one was available for the two rooms. Would have expected some kind of apology at checkout or maybe a discount on what we thought was a very average breakfast for 19 euros each. Beautiful hotel but the discomfort stung a bit so would have to think before staying again."
"The housekeeping service was horrible - one of them yelled at me and told me I needed to clean with her ….reason - I ordered food and use the delivery bag as trash and she was upset I didn’t use her garbage bag."
