"Great overnight stop after a late afternoon train from Folkestone. Plenty of free parking on site. Room are basic but perfectly adequate for a night stop on route to Southern France. Has a kettle and tea and coffee facilities. Nice seating area both inside and out for an evening drink. Had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and well priced. "Perfect budget hotel for an overnight stay. Other reviews were critical but let’s be honest, it’s not a 5 star hotel but it is perfectly clean and decent buffet breakfast. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy parking and a 20/25 minute walk to the cathedral and old town where all the bars and restaurants are situated along the canal. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Maison au Fils Temp. A charming property a short drive away from Amiens. A perfect stop to explore the Somme area, ahead of our LeShuttle journey home to the UK. Sylvie and Nicolas were such kind and thoughtful hosts. We had a delicious 3 course dinner both nights at the property. Very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend a stay here."

"Great location by the cathedral. A three minute walk to shopping and dining. Twelve minutes to the train station on foot. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in Europe.
