"Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. Quiet except for the continuous roaring of the sea and the waterfall. Wonderful staff, friendly and courteous. In particular the chief chef who made fascinating meals in local style. "Egg,toast, croissant, tea and some fruit as breakfast, same breakfast everyday. Room was cleaned everyday. Room was a relatively OK size, slightly on the small side to what we were expecting. Roof is nice, to enjoy the sun and chill. Workers nice, friendly and helpful. Some dogs in surrounding areas which bark at night and don't let you sleep. And we found lizards can get into your room."

"A budget hotel that served my purpose for business travel. Beautiful grounds and reasonably friendly staff and a generally comfortable room. Breakfast was awful, poorly executed, poorly presented and small variety. I stayed only one night and it was only acceptable but if I had booked a 2 week dream holiday to Mauritius and ended up here then I'd be sorely disappointed. "
