"Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre court séjour au Clos du Jas, nous aimons tous les deux trouver des petits lieux charmants comme celui-ci et n'avons pas été déçus. Toutes les instructions et informations dont nous avons besoin lors de notre arrivée sont très bien expliquées et permettent d'arriver même tard dans la nuit, ce qui était appréciable. "I see the staff read the comments so writing this to be as constructive as possible. I booked this hotel because I was looking for a pool. I didn’t realize how much of a spa it actually is. So I only really used the pool - I can’t really comment on the other aspects which people seemed to enjoy. The other caveat here is that I probably stayed in one of the cheaper rooms so you get what you pay for. 1) Straight out the gate, the staff are lovely and helpful. They tolerated my crap French and that always warms my heart. But everything was super efficient 2) the restaurant is amazing. Tremendous quality for the price. 3) few amenities. For a place that considers itself a spa this was a bit surprising. No cream rince? Bring everything you need (as someone who was travelling light for the weekend, this was a pain). There is barely even any coffee. 4) the walk to the hotel from the station was less than scenic, but only 10 minutes. The area is bit run down relative to the rest of the city and the road is a construction site. That said, the other paths to the town square are absolutely charming and it was basically 10 minutes to anywhere you want to go on foot. 5) I kept hearing thumping, and wondering if my neighbours were having a good time, but it turned out that I was next to the stairs. Light sleepers will want to avoid, but it didn’t bother me too much. 6) most frustrating thing was how hard it was to know when things were open. Signs were inconsistent but staff helped"

"We booked Auberge La Coste to celebrate two significant birthdays. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are professional, friendly and efficient. There are numerous areas to eat throughout the day and night. There is also a magnificent Sculpture Trail, and Art Centre, featuring works by well known artists. There is also a winery tour available which three our party took and were impressed. The staff also arranged a car for two of us when we had to leave for the airport and it was a reasonable price. We spent two nights there and found enough to keep us occupied for the entire time we were there just exploring what was available on the magnificent property. We were able to have breakfast of coffee and croissant without signing up to the buffet breakfast which was a bonus as this is rarely offered at hotels. It’s usually buffet breakfast or eat elsewhere. It’s a place I would definitely go back to for a special occasion or just a couple of days of complete relaxation."

"Excellent location. It had a parking space for my car. The room was like suite. The double bed was comfortable and very roomy for 2. The room was modern newly renovated. The air conditioner was excellent and quiet. The bathroom was modern and had all needed amenities. I highly recommended and would stay there again."

"Bom dia! O hotel é bonito a propriedade poderia estar mais bem cuidada. Tivemos grande dificuldade no atendimento no café da manhã , a reposição dos alimentos era fraca ou nenhuma , o café finalizava as 10:30 e após as 10 hs eles paravam a reposição e por dois dias solicitei reposição por volta de 10:10!hs e não fui atendido ou fui após muita reclamação . Complementando as mesas estavam sujas de farelos e parecia do dia anterior pois ficavam entre as mesas. A apresentação do café da manhã é muito pouco convidativa. Eles tem um bar muito interessante rústico que só fui descobrir na última noite e também tive um pouco de dificuldade para ser atendido lá , tive que insistir. Na minha opinião o hotel não merece as 5 estrelas e disse isto claramente ao pessoal da recepção quando ocorreram os problemas."

"The hotel and the staff were excellent. The front desk personnel were thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. It was easy to park our car and the walk into town was also very good. We had cancelled an alternate hotel as this hotel had a outdoor pool to relax by. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for two of the 4 days which was extremely disappointing. There could have been an adjustment on the price given this was the primary reason we picked the hotel."
