Well the reservation was changed to Central B&B which is a better location. Stayed an extra night. Arrived at midnight which had previously advised. Didn’t realize I needed to call upon my arrival. It was situated and Mauro arrived very quickly.

Expedia has the wrong address for this B&B. It was very frustrating to find the new location. Please update your information! We did not receive what was advertised. I will not use Expedia again.

No palazzo

The day before our arrival we got a message from the owner that we were relocated to a modern "hotelroom" because of a renovation of the palazzo. Gone was the dream about an old palazzo. Instead we got a functional but boring room with a nonfunctional a/c. Breakfast in the nearby bar consisted of a cup of coffee and a cornetto. Some days we got some juice.

Perfecto

Nous avons été surclassés par le propriétaire au Palazzo Salia en raison de travaux non achevés au Palazzo Belli. Le P Salia, dans le centre historique , a été rénové avec goût, belle et grande chambre calme, hôtes très accueillants, petit déjeuner copieux, confitures , pain & gâteaux faits maison. En plus le parking a été pris en charge (donc gratuit) dans une rue adjacente. Nous vous recommandons cette adresse pour un séjour agréable à Lecce.

Mini frigo in camera

Sarebbe stato più utile e comodo avere in camera un mini frigo per avere acqua fresca. Il frigo in comune nel piano basso é risultato scomodo e poco igienico a causa della promiscuità degli oggetti altrui.

Excellent emplacement au centre historique et proche de la gare. Accueil extrêmement chaleureux et généreux par les hôtes. Excellent petit-déjeuner très varié et fait maison ! Tout comme à la maison. MERCI pour cette dernière journée en beauté.

I actually ended up staying at their other property Piazza Salia. They are a very warm and friendly couple. My room was lovely and very clean. The breakfast cakes Mauro’s wife makes are delicious.

Non vedo l'ora di tornarci

Come dice la scritta all'ingresso, da Dora e Mauro si arriva ospiti e si parte amici. Tutto lo staff e' molto simpatico e disponibile. Da non sottovalutare la colazione con le torte preparate la mattina stessa da Dora e Mauro. Le stanze sono molto belle, arredate con stile e coerenza, ognuna con un tocco individuale. Insomma, non vedo l'ora di tornarci. Per dovere di cronaca il b&b attualmente non si trova nel Palazzo Belli (dove ci sono lavori in corso), bensi nel Palazzo Salia, vicino a Porta San Biagio (a quanto pare c'e' un errore sul sito che hotels.com stenta a correggere).

Apparenza....e solo contanti

B&B scelto per la posizione. Poco prima di arrivare ci avvisano che la struttura non è palazzo Belli, ma il poco distante palazzo Salía: essendo ugualmente in buona posizione accettiamo. Scegliamo un camera ampia e rinnovata ma la cura è solo in apparenza: la serratura della stanza è difettosa, la maniglia della porta del bagno è rotta e cade, c'è l'asciugacapelli ma non l'adattatore per la presa e, sempre in bagno, non c'é una mensola per appoggiare gli effetti. Due reti wifi con una tacchetta scarsa, non utilizzabili. Personale cortese ( vagamente invadente) che però, tra i mille convenevoli, tralascia per ben 3 giorni della nostra permanenza di dirci che accettano solo pagamenti in contanti. Al momento del check out, carta di credito in pugno, vengo mandata a prelevare. Oltre ad essere grave non accettare carte...se avessimo avuto il taxi prenotato fuori ad aspettarr, o un volo o un treno di lì a poco???

Charmant et bien situé

Établissement très bien situé dans une ruelle calme et charmante du centre historique de Lecce. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et disponibles. La chambre est spacieuse et climatisée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel.
