"Good as always but the company needs to upgrade the rooms and TVS so it's more modern"

"The staff was great. Location is close to the airport with easy airport shuttle. There is not much around so you’re basically reliant on the hotel. The rooms are small but adequate. The shower water pressure was great. The breakfast buffet was very good and easy. The hotel is showing a bit of age but would stay there again if needed. "

"The spa is excellent. Well trained staff and great massage and facial. Room was clean. But towels are very small. Unfortunately the power kept going off and their generator only provided lighting, no power sockets or tv which was frustrating. Investing in a better generator backup system would be good for customers. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. "

"The Southern Sun O. R. Tambo Hotel was a home away from home for us. We stayed there one day at the beginning of our trip to South Africa and for three days at the end. The hotel staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The hotel is very clean and well-appointed. The breakfast is amazing! And the restaurant was excellent for lunch and dinner as well. The best thing about the hotel was the staff -- they helped us with every request with a smile, whether it was large or small. I would definitely stay there again."

"Nice premises, however it did not meet my requirements. The net curtains in the room do not allow for any privacy as other guests can see what's happening in the room, which I discovered when walking about in my underwear! Therefore the drapes need to be drawn during the day to prevent guests from exposing themselves to passers-by. The absence of a functional television was a major letdown as I wanted to keep up to date with what is happening owing to the situation in the Middle East. Apparently visitors can watch Netflix if they have an account or Youtube! Breakfast was good though. The property has some good facilities which may suit others but unfortunately were not for me."
