"The room was amazing for the price - would definitely recommend getting spa and breakfast included. The breakfast spread was impeccable, all kosher so don’t go expecting a full English. The spa’s amenities were very undersold on the website - 3 different temps of sauna (one doubles as a salt room) and a hammam style steam room with immersive a shower experience. The spa staff themselves were lovely people - big shout out to Leo for making our trip to Romania one of the best we’ve had! The location of the spa is a little outside the centre but Bolt prices are so friendly so it didn’t make that much of a difference to us. Would 100% book again!"

"Amazing hotel with a modern refurbished look. Our room was a standard double but still very spacious with all the amenities you need. Great staff who were all friendly. Lovely continental breakfast with a few hot food elements. The Skybar/restaurant was brilliant too. One thing to note is that a map will tell you you’re only 7 miles away from the city center, but in busy traffic it did take 50+ minutes."

"PROPERTY WE STAYED IN WAS NOT THE APARTMENT WE BOOKED AND WE WERE SENT TO A DIFFERENT BLOCK CLOSE BY. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR WOMEN TRAVELLING ALONE! AND THE APARTMENT WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE PICTURES. We pre-booked taxis to and from the airport via Bolt and into Bucarest for an early morning excursion from the address we thought we were staying in and we had to re-book everything while we were there which caused a very hectic start to our break. Communication was hard with host on arrival and at one point we thought we were stuck without accommodation when we first arrived but was finally sorted. There was rubbish in the bin, dirty dishes in the dishwasher and no plug for the sink or bath. HOWEVER it was a relatively clean and tidy studio apartment on the 6th floor in a large block, the balcony overlooks a large childrens playground and we were kept up til 3am the first night by men drinking outside in the street. There is a fridge, freezer, microwave, bath (sans plug) over the bath (off the tap) shower which was hot and the fold out sofa bed was comfortable. Plenty of shops close by, and plenty of places to eat or get take out, very cheap to get a taxi into Bucarest or a bus/train close by if you prefer. If you dont need luxury and just need somewhere to lay your head of an evening thats inexpensive then this is fine, but not like the pictures. Theres also a washing machine and towels, bedding etc. Was not what we expected but as the trip went on it wasnt such a bad place. "
