"We had a great stay here in Katoomba! Great location, 5-10minutes from all the tourist spots and lookouts. Scenic World was amazing! Three Sisters was beautiful! We even went on a foggy morning and could see nothing, but it cleared up in a couple hours so we could see it all. We walked to the little shopping area. This Hotel location was great for our family and we had a huge room the kids were excited about and proud to Facetime the grandparents to show them!"

"Nostalgia at its best. This is an authentic old inn, so if you are looking for the Marriott this is not for you. Excellent views of the mountains, all the staff were fantastic. Please do yourself a favor and spend some time with Alan, the piano player. Happy hour piano bar, doesn’t get much better. Oh yea, it’s close to all those trails too. "

"The property is obviously old and it shows. Expedia told me I can expect a continental breakfast, none were offered and absolutely refused. I booked a superior room and given a room overlooking a metal roof and a crane and was offered to a further upgrade for additional fee of $70 per night."

"A lovely hotel to stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and very cosy. Staff were amazing especially when our Gas fireplace was not working, they went out of there way to get it fix which at the end they just gave us another room with a fireplace working That’s what we call customer service."

"Other guests left at 1am and again at 4am. Their work utes leaving was very noisy. Was given the wrong room key and walked into an already occupied room,"

"We had a great weekend stay at the Kyah and would highly recommend it. The Hotel is really tastefully decorated and has a huge number of amenities. It's also in a great spot for exploring lots of different lookouts and bushwalks. The in-house restaurant Blaq is the best in the area, and we also had a great breakfast the next morning. We loved our stay and will be back."
