"The best part of staying at this property is its proximity to Natural Bridge State Park, which is a true treasure! The hotel itself has very comfortable beds, but the on site dining is only so-so."

Devil's Backbone Brewery was welcoming to all including kids and dogs! View is amazing on deck. Food is excellent. Drinks are great! Staff very friendly.

Love the quiet retreat from our hectic lives in the Washington DC Metro Area. Also, our child is starting VMI in Aug (Class of 29) & we look forward to visiting many, many times in the years to come. Picturesque mountain views, & warm smiling people.

Small quite town, with two nearby colleges. New establishments have been added (Dunkin Donuts, Chick Fil A, Tru Hotel), which is a plus for families visiting.
