This is a historical gem from the beginning of the 1900's with many features. Frank & Cheryl are great hosts and we were made to feel so welcome. The room was cosy and comfortable with modern en-suite facilities plus fridge & TV blended into a traditional feel to the room. It was great to have breakfast in the large lobby and imagine what it was like over 100 years ago. For anyone searching for the genuine America you won't go wrong here. We really hope to return sometime.

This was a wonderful hotel with very clean and pretty rooms. There was no pool but a games room which our kids absolutely loved. Check in staff was very friendly.
We had a great night's sleep and the lady who attended to the breakfast room was ever so nice and attentive.
Thank you very much for a great stay - this was one of our favourite hotels during our Route 66 trip and we stayed in 14 hotels over 16 nights so well done!!!

I was a bit apprehensive when I arrived as there is no front desk as such. I called the hotel number and within a minute or two I received a text with instructions and a PIN code for the door. Although the room was small it was very cosy and had everything you need. I really liked my stay here and would definitely stay again. Be sure to visit the food place next door, their burgers are the best I have ever had.

The room was clean and comfortable, and not too far from Carthage center. It was a drive to the door motel on one level which is very handy. There was a lovely family restaurant within a 10 minute walk from the motel, and a mexican just over the road.
