Kitchen not well stocked -be sure you understand the rules and expectations regarding cooking in the unit ahead of time. "We were so surprised to see all rooms are ON the waterfront! So many seabirds and cargo ships coming and going during the day..if you're a boat/water person, this is a GREAT place. Room had everything we needed. Would definitely come back."

"This hotel is excellent for families and one of the only around with a suite large enough for all. Absolutely fabulous views of the bridge. Our teen boys LOVED the daily breakfast, and our 7 year old was constantly watching the birds on the shoreline and the ships going by. Small but clean and saltwater(!) pool. "Parking was easy and safe. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at a hotel. The trolley that takes you to town was a plus! Enjoyed watching the ships that were on the river. "

"Classy old dated hotel. Our room was lovely, bed was comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. We wanted to stay in one of Astoria's haunted hotels while staying out at the coast, and while we didn't get every spooky thing we hoped for, we did get a couple unexplained experiences. Would love to stay here again. Only complaint (minor) was that we did a lap around a couple blocks before finding out that it's street parking only for this hotel. Had no problem getting a good parking...

"There didnt happen to be any staff on site the entire time we were there which was weird, but okay. We did have an open/ used cup that was still wet and a K-cup that had been used before we got there. Overall decent price, but unsure if I would book again."
