"If you want the sound of breaking waves 200 metres away, a spacious room, a big balcony (this time with a view of the bay and beach); a two minute walk to the sand and the sea and the lovely Kovalam beach; coconut trees all around and lots of local people enjoying the happy life, this is for you. It’s a very Kerala hotel, dark wood, space and carved wood. Friendly staff. It coups do with a bit of modernisation, but what you need will work. It’s very personal. I hade been there a year before and I was remembered. It could only be a South Indian hotel, with lots of atmosphere. The breakfast is simple and not a lot of choice, Laundry took a day but was well done. A very happy place indeed."
