"I had a wonderful stay at Banyan tree Lijiang. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great during my stay. Nevertheless, the hotel and facilities were amazing! Abby, Coco and Xiao Tang at the reception were also amazing and made us all feel so welcome!"

"Given the price point of the inn, I would say that it was reasonably value for money. A big downside is the paper-thin walls which meant that we could hear the noise of the neighbouring guests very clearly. Otherwise the location of the inn is pretty good - near the northern entrance of Shuhe, in a quiet but accessible location."

"Hotel particolare con un sapore di vecchia Cina rivisitata.Posizionato all'estremo sud del centro storico, raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi; colazione abbondante ma non eccezionale. Attenzione arrivare con indirizzo scritto in cinese altrimenti con il taxi ci sono problemi per raggiungerlo anche perché localmente ha nome diverso."

"Good location in the Old City. Large room with cupboard space and huge bathroom. On our side of the hotel it was noisy until early hours of the morning. Loud talkers and drunken party goers. Goes by a different name and was not on Chongren Street so was a little difficult to find. Staff were helpful and friendly."
