Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Convention Center
10/10 Excellent
"Our initial room only had a darkening curtain halfway and the TV would shut off and turn back on. Tiffany, who was on the front desk, actually went to another room and checked things prior to bringing us the new room key and taking our old room key. Way above and beyond service that was very very appreciated. Staff interaction otherwise was limited. We only came in and watched a little tv, showered, slept, and got up in the morning and left. We did not even go down for breakfast. Last time we stayed here, the breakfast was good. Room was clean and roomy. I did notice an ironing board but the thing for the iron was empty. "

"The breakfast was good. Food was fresh and a nice selection.
I got unlucky enough to have a bad room. I feel like my situation was isolated so don't let my experience stop you from staying here. My biggest complaint was the way the young man at the desk handled it. Issues arise and that is to be expected. My TV didn't work, phone didn't work, and sink didn't drain. I went down to breakfast and reported the issues to the young man at the front desk, and he simply said, "I'll notify maintenance". I went back to the room and played on my cell phone until it was time for me to leave (3 hours after breakfast). I spoke to the Lady Manager on duty on my way to my car, and told her that I sat in my room for 3 hours and Maintenance still hadn't been there. Turns out, the young man didn't do a thing! The Manager was very nice, apologized for the inconvenience and would take care of the issues with the room. It is because of the way she handled the situation that I gave the 4 stars and not 3 stars. "

"This hotel looked new on the inside. Our room was completely renovated. Spacious and the bathroom was big too. Everything is spotless. Bed was super comfy with soft pillows. Indoor pool was nice and clean and the pool towels were absorbent and sized like bath towels. The room towels were great too. The breakfast bar was perfect! Cereal, bagels, fruit, make urself waffles, hot eggs and sausage, muffins, juice tea and coffee. Something for everyone. There’s a bar too which had a good selection of food. I highly recommend this hotel. In a great location too."
