Had a fantastic meal at La Cuisine du Cliotre in old square. Exceptional food - no choice locally sourced menu and delicious Minuty rose wine. Highly recommend although not cheap. 150€ for 2 (4 course meal plus wine and coffee)
Limoges has trolleybuses
