"From the moment we got to the hotel until we left, the staff were wonderful. My family and I were greeted with freshly made juice blend that was delicious and our bags were taken to our room. We booked activities prior to arriving but wish we hadn’t because they help you with all of that as well, which includes transportation to and from the hotel. I highly recommend the night walk and zip line activities. We had to leave early in the morning due to an early afternoon flight out of San Jose, and they even packed us. Breakfast to go for that as well. My wife and I are looking forward to coming back as this was a very peaceful place. We took our six year old daughter and she loved it as well. It rained the entire time we were there but it does say cloud forest after all, so in a way, that was expected. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for making our stay memorable."

"Excelente personal,sùper amables.Es una gran virtud. Hotel con filosofia de proyeccion comunitaria al invertir parte de las ganancias. Acceso directo y corto al centro (400m.). Bonito comedor, con grandes ventanales. Hotel nuevo,en excelente estado. Habitaciones sencillas, sin detalles de lujo.Basico. No hay servicio de restaurante,sòlo desayuno.Ofrecen cafe y tè gratis todo el dìa. Sin servicios como TV, aire, closets,mesas de noche, habitaciòn pequeña, sin refrgerador en cuarto."

"Beautiful, serene, and peaceful location with clean and spacious rooms. Friendly and responsive staff. Daily breakfast was fantastic! Only downside was a bit of a musty smell in our room but that is to be expected in such humid environment. Overall, magical stay!"

"stayed in the sunrise room: really exceptional. It is a wonderful hotel, but overall, falling too much in love as to how fancy it is. Case in point: the Celajes Restaurant. Gorgeous sunset views. Wonderful starter. Then came the 40$ filet. Worst filet I ever had. It was chewy, rather than melting in your mouth as it should. Told the waiter ( more politely), who brought the chef. Rather than receiving an apology, I got a lecture and was made to pay the entire bill. Perhaps I was too polite? Anyways, can‘t fully recommend it at that price. Get of your horse, Hotel Belmar! It is a shame, because all the employees are trying so hard. Ah, also, the sunrise room is truly fantastic. But it creaks and rumbles when the wind is blowing outside. I didn’t mind, but some may find that disconcerting."
