We bought a combined ticket for the Cathedral and the Castle, which was cheaper. The ticket for the Cathedral we were advised to go for a walk round by ourselves one day and then do the guided tour the next.

The only hill in the flat county of Lincolnshire leads up to Lincoln Cathedral. Parking is limited up there.
