"This hotel is a little off the cycle way, but situated at the edge of Lindau old town, which is the most charming part. Checking in went fine, though the owner had played that dangerous game of emailing important codes and instructions on the day of arrival to people whose mobile reception was poor and who weren't making it a priority to check the phone as they cycled.
