"There was trash all over the property, my room didn't get cleaned until I said something to the front desk and that was the days after I arrived. The staff basically ignored my calls to the front desk no answer. The hall room 124 i was in smelled like weed. The whole hallway was smelling like weed. The breakfast was good. That was about it."

"The Fontaine is in our rotation when traveling to KC. It continues to be very suitable for its location, cleanliness, comfort and value. Are the rooms in need of updating? maybe, but not to extent of calling them tired. We love visiting the bar on the 7th floor off the pool deck, though pool was not open for the season yet on this stay. Some of the best happy hour drinks you'll find anywhere! On matter of bathroom towel racks, none except one in the shower, not sure why there aren't any on the bathroom walls. Regardless, we'll be back, "

"Nice overall hotel, 13 stories I think, we were on 10 and there for 3 nights visiting a granddaughter in college. The parking lot is large but is deteriorating and once had a controlled entry/exit system that is no longer operational. They did have a restaurant on site that we did not visit. It appeared to have a very limited menu based on online search. Room was nice but had no refrigerator or microwave. Apparently there are some rooms with refrigerators that you must specify/ask for. Didn't say anything about microwaves. Every other property we have stayed at have fridge/microwaves and free breakfasts! Shower hot water was hot enough but water volume was low. Room was extremely expensive for the area but area "express" hotels were high too. Had a lot of individuals staying there for baseball/softball/soccer tournaments so price was likely jacked up for the weekend. Perhaps weekends are always high. Breakfast was $11.00/person/day if you wanted breakfast. For what we had to pay for the room, some sort of breakfast should have been complimentary. Had a Starbucks on site. Elevators were nice. Also, must pay $12.00/day for self parking, all outdoors parking. I was not aware of the parking fee prior to checking in, my bad likely. Unless you are a platinum Hilton member the water bottles left in the room are $3.50 apiece. Cookies are still excellent that you get at check-in. I have two charges to room that I need more info on."

"I have received 0 assistance from staff or Expedia for my check in issues. We didn’t even stay at the hotel!!!!! Waiting on a response to see if I can even get a refund. Useless staff, didn’t help at all."

"The rooms were actually pretty nice. Upon arrival I noticed some ghetto neighbors, but to be fair I did arrive at 3 am. Speaking of arriving at 3 am I needed to quickly shower for a hair event in the morning and get gel out of my hair from a previous event the night of. When I went to wash my hair.. there was no shampoo or conditioner. That was very surprising considering that has never happened, I’m not sure if it was a mistake when stocking the room or if it was the hotel, but just keep that in mind if you stay here."

"Outdoor pool was dirty and full of debris. Room was not clean yet at 500pm and had to wait for housekeeping to clean the room while I was waiting in the hallway."
