"The property looked like they had done some renovations. Perhaps new owners? the bathroom looked like it was recently redone. Parking lot was "re-graveled". Had a restaurant, smell good, but was not used as it was late."

"I had to take one star off, which was a shame because this place was phenomenal from the staff to the facility to the amenities – it was first class all the way, except… For the bed. That had to be one of the worst sleeps in the most uncomfortable mattress I have had in a hotel in a very long time! I actually wanted to get up in the middle night and go sleep in the beautiful hammock because I had a better nap in the afternoon than I did in that bed hard as a rock. The sheets are soft. The pillows are amazing but that bed- ugh Everything else definitely five star high-end I also want to point out. I was disgusted by some of the city travelers that came up and how they treated the staff. I want to remind people that money does not equal class and being respectful and kind is free that you should practice. The staff did a phenomenal job navigating some very rude individuals"

"This is a nice small motel exactly 5 minutes outside of Wiarton. Family run, owners were onsite and were very helpful. The rooms have had some updating, but not completely, having said that they were very clean and very reasonably priced. I stayed here on a motorcycle trip."

"There aren’t a lot of low-cost options in Wiarton, and we are not high maintenance. This motel suited our purposes and we have no major complaints. The price was very good. The location was great for our hike to Lionsheadand the beds were comfortable. Nothing fancy about this motel and we would stay there again. The remote control didn’t work for the TV and we could’ve told the staff and I’m sure they would have fixed it, but we just manually changed channels and it worked fine for us."
