This is a wonderful property, and I would stay here again. It's very difficult to find, but once you do it's in a great location. Rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable.

Hotel bar and restaurant was overpriced even for happy hour, no issue is cute. Taverns were less than three minute walk away. Romania de Rocco outstanding affordable restaurant nearby.

Great location, dated hotel. Front desk staff were lovely, had to move rooms because of sewage smell from bathroom. Restaurant staff allowed us to sit (during open hours, 5pm) but received no service as apparently (according to the front desk after we asked) they were all "in training", left after 20mins of being ignored, so can't speak to the restaurant. Right in the heart of historic town center though, easy walk to everything, lots of sights and restaurants close by.

Sintra was lovely. Hotel is close to some popular attractions and many restaurants. Very convenient. A little old but clean. Had a little trouble with the QR code to access the hotel parking. Thankfully it worked in the end. The driver behind us who seemed like a resident of the town was getting a little impatient. In the end, he got out of his car and helped us to speak with hotel staff through the gantry speaker.

This place was amazing, just tricky to get in and out due to the extreme narrow roads. Andrew, the concierge was AN ANGEL. As stated above. It was a pleasant hotel, a bit too old and shabby, and unfortunately the ambient fragance throughout the public areas of the hotel is totally UNPLEASANT to my senses. I stayed at a newly converted quaint NH property in Mexico city in Jan 2024 and the freshner in public areas was exactly as UNPLEASANT and sickening 😑 as at Sintra.
