Really very nice and great value for money would definitely stay again , it’s a little out of the way do watch your sat nav doesn’t lead you into a field Only very slight issue was breakfast and check out were very early for a Sunday morning I think check out 1000 breakfast until 0900 , but it was a nice breakfast

The family room in the hotel was lovely. Very spacious and clean. The gardens were lovely and the children enjoyed the many peacocks happily wandering around. The photo for the listing suggests cabins and our room was in the main building. It was not a problem and our room was lovely, just different. Just something to be aware of when booking. A lovely tranquil place with great walks on site.

Fantastic stay

We stayed in an delux lodge which was fantastic so big and comfortable beds everything you need for cooking and relaxing a fantastic stay The only downside is lack of Children facilities to play on and the pot holes on entrance but aprt from that cant wait to rebook

Stayed in Badger Lodge, Very nice and all necessities provided (please note Wifi not the best - only minor point) Also had dinner at hotel restaurant which was lovely and homely with all the peacocks roaming around outside. Recommended !

Great Trethew, Kernow Cottage

Cottage was perfect for our needs for the weekend. Eco-friendliness given 2 stars becuse there isnt plumbed heating, only electric heaters. Staff were great and location was ideal for our weekend plans.

Hotel was nice, couldn't fault the staff who were very pleasant and helpful however, the restaurant was very average and really over priced. For the money charged I would expect the food to be home made and it is clearly frozen average pub food that they then charge £18-20 for a main course. Breakfast was also average and expensive! cheap sausages and everything overcooked would have been nice to see some quality local produce used. Missed opportunity

Lovely lodge Lovely grounds lots of animals to see birds peacocks roaming in grounds . Only thing went for meal at main hotel and found it disappointing due to being over cooked or warmed and not over nice.. being the only ones in restaurant due to early seasons put it down to that.

The room was adequate but very dark as the only window looked out on a wall. Needed lights on all the time and no view of the grounds at all. The room also had a somewhat unpleasant smell and absolutely no decor. The bed was okay. Restaurant was okay but pricey. Would have welcomed some lighter dinner choices.

Gem of a place - highly recommend!

We had a Lovely stay at the Great Trethow Manor. Site is just gorgeous, building is very pretty, room was spacious, beds were very comfortable and we had a nice breakfast in the a.m. So thankful they advertise via Hotels.com or we never would have found this place!

There are a lot of Peacocks that are very noisy starting from very early in the morning when staying in one of the lodges. Shower water strength not very good. Spacious and bright lodge. Hotel very traditional, lots of stuffed, mounted animals.

1 Night Stay at this Beautiful Peaceful Hotel

Wonderful hotel and setting in the countryside. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, room was clean and fresh. Breakfast in the morning very nice. The setting is very good tranquil with peacocks roaming around and a peaceful pond to sit by. We stayed here for 1 night on Sat 27th May as we were going to see Muse in Plymouth. Would definitely recommend this for any events in Plymouth. Tim’s Taxi providing our travel from hotel to Home Park and pick up after, excellent friendly service.
