"We stayed one night while on a long road trip. At the end of a 10-hour drive from Maine, all we wanted was a hot shower and comfortable bed. We also were traveling with our pet which made this place a good choice. I checked in online before arriving and all we had to do was pick up the key in the lobby which worked great. Breakfast the next morning was sufficient. The downside to this motel: the room was not very clean except for the beds (decent sheets), the walls and baseboards were terrible and needed painting (very worn and stained), and the couple in the room next to us were having a problem. In that regard, it felt unsafe and uncomfortable, and I was happy to depart. Stay here if you're traveling with a pet and need a quick stop to sleep."

Speakeasy was nice but not what one would expect because it was not secluded and secretly as they should be. But all that being said it’s a beautiful property and very welcoming"

Town not too far away for dining and necessities. Cost for having a pet seemed steep in comparison to room cost."
