"The hotel is located in an attracive historic building, built in 1915. My room was spacious, with tall ceilings. It was clean and well laid-out. It had charm. It had tall, grand windows with thick curtains that really made it feel luxurious, even if my view was other buildings! The room was quiet, except for the a/c which was a bit noisy, but this is a common problem at hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful. The $9.99 buffet breakfast was good value for the price -- toast your own bread, cooked oatmeal, eggs, sausages, French toast, coffee, you know the drill. Overall, I thought this was way better than your average three star hotel. The pool is small but kids will like it and the gym has modern equipment. This hotel isn't far from the pedestrian mall that is the star attraction of the city, with lots of cute little shops. There is a big chain hotel that is literally on the pedestrian mall. But it's more expensie and lacks the charm of the old Masonic Temple Building that houses the Hilton Garden Inn. All in all, I was very satisfied wiht my stay here. Parking is $20 a night."

"Got exactly what I paid for. Really just needed a bed. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good, little small for a tall guy like me. That was all I needed. Room was very dated, but clean. Parking right outside the door. Located right off the freeway."
