A wonderfully located, modern hotel with all necessary amenities. Staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. The breakfast was a wide range of ala carte options which were beautifully presented. Overall a marvelous experience.

During my three-plus weeks exploring Slovenia, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Cubo three different times—both before and after my travels, beginning and ending my journey in the storybook capital of Ljubljana. The location is fantastic—centrally situated and within easy walking distance of the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and beautiful Old Town. The hotel itself is stylish and modern, with beautiful décor and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. What truly stands out, though, is the staff. The front desk team is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. Hotel Cubo was the perfect home base for my time in Ljubljana and a wonderful way to begin and end my Slovenian adventure. A must-stay when visiting Ljubljana!

We stayed at the Hotel Cubo for 4 nights. We arrived late in the first evening and our room was a little stuffy. The staff upon being informed immediately took action to correct the issue. The efforts helped; however, we were completely surprised the next morning when the staff checked in with us at breakfast to see if their efforts had corrected the issues (they were proactive). We said it helped but the room was still a little stuffy. They then offered to move us to another room which we accepted and that room was comfortable and incredible. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was exceptional!! The hotel location is great being just outside the Old Town (you can drive up to it!). Old Town is a short (less than 5 minute walk) from the hotel. We would definitely recommend the hotel and will stay there again if visiting Ljubljana.

This is a really nice modern hotel located just a block or so from the main squares in town. The rooms have everything you need and we had zero complaints. Breakfast was excellent, and there are plenty of restaurants you can walk to from the hotel.
