It was great to have a proper big bed instead of two put together as some hotels do! Really handy to have a little kitchen area, especially the fridge. We had the tasting menu for dinner and breakfast the following morning. Everything was delicious, excellent quality and beautifully presented. The restaurant area is a cosy, welcoming space and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. I would definitely recommend, if you do book a room, make sure you eat here too as it really is special. "

"Lovely hotel in quiet location overlooking the estuary. Fab bathroom with large tub. Excellent view from my room. Lovely breakfast with great choice of food. It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. "
