Very good for outdoors ppl

The centre seems to be divided into two separate parts - one of them is renovated, lovely main hall, where we were lucky enough to get the room. The rooms were top-notch, very clean, very comfortable and nice. We had extra pillows, comfy beds and small things like tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits were a nice add-on for Welsh B&B. With full Welsh breakfast included for £60 per twin - it was the price of an average Welsh B&B, but very nice standard. We were aware that some of our friends got their rooms in the part of the centre, which hasn't been renovated, was quite cold and had tiny single beds though. Make sure you are put in the main hall when booking the place

"Hidden away near Llangollen"

Very nice stay at the Tyn Dwr outdoor center coach house, beautiful setting, both the natural surroundings and former estate. Well organized with good security and up to date facilities. Only drawbacks are the distance from Llangollen if not arriving by car, and that the style of accomodation is along the lines of a hostel or student residence which won't suit everyone, and space may not be available during peak student course times for the University of Central Lancashire. Enjoyable stay and excellent value for money.

WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS OUTDOOR CENTER AS IT WAS VERY BASIC. MISINFORMED ABOUT THE ROOM DETAILS. THE PICTURE WAS OF A LUXURY ROOM AT A LUXURY PRICE. THE ROOM WE WERE OFFERED WAS VERY BASIC, MORE LIKE AN ARMY CAMP ROOM,WITH 2 METAL FRAME BEDS, A CABINET AND NOTHING ELSE.
