"Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was terrible. Waffle machine was broke, and OJ was dark brown. Pool was green w/algae and unusable. Room had severe signs of wear and tear. Bed was comfortable. "
"The rooms were really nice, clean, stylish. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Parking was ample abd they are Pet Friendly. My only complaint was i was on the bottom floor which is what i needed, but im pretty sure the people above me had dogs that were running back and forth all night and i mean all night so i wasnt able to enjoy sleep"
"Overall room needed a paint job and bigger tv. Shower was great alittle outdated but great and the bed was also good but there was no chain or deadbolt on the whole door."
"The elevator was broken so guests had to use the stairs without help or financial compensation. The check-in person seemed irritated at the situation and projected her frustration passively at the guests as they checked in. The hotel is older and needs paint, caulking, deep cleaning, and updating. There was a lot of street noise, car alarms in the morning, and stairway noises all night. The breakfast was great, and the person managing the meal was outstanding. We stayed at a different Holiday In. express three days before and it was new and outstanding. This one was less than average and not recommmened."
"Booked a room at the Comfort Inn while on the road and declined their $8.00 upcharge to allow cancellation for any reason since we were on our way to the hotel and had no intention of canceling our reservation. We arrived at the hotel and they could not locate our reservation; the reason being that the reservation had inadvertently been made for two weeks in the future. The hotel also had no hot water, so we booked a room at another hotel in the area. The manager said she had no authority to cancel the reservation and said to contact the manager on Monday. Received a message from Hotels.com that they were working on the cancelation and to sit tight. They responded that the general manager had failed to respond to their emails, so I was on the hook for the full cost of the reservation. I emailed the General Manager, and she also failed to respond to my email. Emailed the GM that I will avoid Comfort Inns and other Choice Hotels in the future due to their customer disservice."

What are holiday rentals like in Lodge?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Lodge. Holiday rentals offer extras such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll feel just like you're at home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of privacy away from shared hotel lifts and busy concierge desks while still allowing you to travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which makes a holiday rental an attractive option for family trips.
