"This villa was so spacious for 8 pax and the pool was amazing. I was blown away with the hospitality of the housekeepers, they were so helpful and even borrowed a pool basket for us to enjoy a dining experience in the pool. This location is quite out of the way and inaccessible to the main road. However, it is very tranquil and quiet. Would recommend a stay here for a day or two."

"Villa Tupai has beautiful gardens and lovely traditional timber buildings, but is let down by the staff and details. The staff have a bad habit of lingering around when they are not needed and with a huge area of gardens and living areas, choosing to wait all day until you are in an area to come and clean around you, spoiling the peace and quiet. "This property looks amazing in the pictures, and it did not disappoint! It is located in a quiet village close enough to Ubud but far enough to avoid the busy night life. It is surrounded by rice fields and a short walk to some great views. The host was outstanding and very accommodating. The villa was in superb condition, clean, well kept, will all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. The water is from a private well and also available filtered from the kitchen so no worry about drinking the tap...
