"Overall we had a great stay at the Estalagem do Mar. The staff was very friendly and helpful with last minute accommodations and present to help with any other needs. It was a 3 minute walk away from a little downtown area with restaurants, a convenience store, gift shop, and little stands that are open on the weekends. Would stay here again if we visit Madeira island again! Free parking on the facility was also a huge plus for us! "

Starting from the greetings for my birthday with chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine, ending with dinners and amazing ocean view that is there from the terrace. The hotel is located among the banana plantations on the hill, and feels peaceful and calm. Staff is friendly and attentive, helped us with local recommendations.
