Nice and very reasonable price.

It’s very nice accommodation. Just beside Natural History Museum, by work, it takes only 2min. I recommend for all ages.

We loved the family room. With two single beds and two bunk beds (one each for our two children) - we had plenty of room. Breakfast was great and the two kids were free. Great location for all of the museums- you can literally see the Natural History museum from the hotel. Only drawbacks were that the room was noisy at night from the traffic on Cromwell Road. Other than that, great value, great hotel amenities and great location.

Exploring the City with Family

The Meininger is a HOSTEL but a high end one! My family had a great expereince there. The staff was very accommodating and the location is great. I highly recommend it for families.

If given the choice, go elsewhere. Disappointing!

Being a longtime fan and frequent guest of other Meinenger properties, I found this one desperstely underwhelming and down-right disappointing! Our room was not ready when we arrived early, as expected. Yet, when we returned later that evening, we were met with very inhospitable, seemingly annoyed and bothered customer service. The room was small, dingy/drab appearance, with the tiniest and poorest bathroom layout of all locations I've stayed. There was even a sign on the wall next to the bathroom sink that stated the water was not drinkable. Super comforting as you rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth. What is this? Recycled poop water? Why?? No hairdryer, very few outlets, and inconvenient space allocation for multiple guests. It was expensive, too! And I have stayed at way nicer places in London for less, so it wasn't due to location. While overall negative experience, we did at least have a place to store our bags while out in London and had clean beds. That is all I can say positive.

Perfect location, though a bit noisy.

We were pleasantly surprised by the look and feel of the Meininger London hotel. It was very clean and modern looking. The customer service at the desk on arrival was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room suitable for six persons (2x bunk beds and 2x singles). This was perfect for our needs of a family with three children. We were very happy with the breakfast choices and the value, especially as the children ate free. The only downside was the noise. Unfortunately we were situated at the start of a corridor near a lift so we had a lot of people walking past our room and slamming doors and the road noise was very loud. The double-glazing isn’t efficient in keeping noise levels low. Otherwise we will definitely consider using this hotel again if we stay on London in the future. Great location for what we needed.

We stayed in a double twin room on the 5th floor and slept with the windows open. Although noisy, the noise lulled us to sleep (like waves in an ocean). The room and beds were so nice that we slept in the next morning. Although very basic accommodations, you can not beat the value of money of this room.

No pot is provided for you to boil water in the room but you can get a cup of hot water from the cafeteria on the ground floor. There is a drinking water fountain on each floor though.

Kids running in halls loud at night and the AM!

We will not stay in a hostel again. There were kids running through the halls late at night and early in the morning, screaming and yelling. We had a private room, but the check in people were confused about that. Not a big deal, but the loud groups of youth staying there with no supervision made for not a great experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig. Die Freizeit- und Serviceangebote (Kicker, Bar, Informationen über Sehenswürdigkeiten, Gutscheine für sehr viele Ausflüge etc.) waren sehr ansprechend. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung allerdings waren Geschirr, Besteck etc. nicht sauber und sehr schlecht gespült.

El baño..

El baño de la 413 estaba con olor intenso a orines y caño, el personal fue muy amable y subieron a limpiarlo en la noche, pero a pesar de eso el olor nunca se quitó. Además llos baños son unas cabinas como baño de autobús o avión, más pequeñas que los baños pequeños de la mayoría de los hoteles similares, muy muy pequeñas

Very pleasant stay. So close to everything.

Stayed four nights Easy walk to underground. We felt we could navigate London well from there. Rooms were very comfortable. Good breakfast if you want it.
