Ginger was an amazing host! She made sure we had everything we needed, she helped with directions to places we wanted to visit, and her food was delicious!

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at the Charles Nelson House. Ginger and Curt were so welcoming and the house is beautiful! Breakfast was amazing and kept us until dinner each day. The room was spacious, as was the bath, and the bed was very comfy. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful vintage property facing Willa Bay

Our hosts were exceptional! A beautiful gourmet breakfast was served and the house is appointed with vintage furnishings and a spotlessly clean environment. I would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat with the most accommodating hosts. Well done, Ginger and Curt!!

Great place to stay

A great place to stay if you are looking for a Bed & Breakfast. Stay was comfortable & owners are amazing. We enjoyed our first visit to a B&B. We will return to this place.

Loved every minute!

My host Ginger was fabulous! Everything exceeded my expectations and were more delightful than described! I will return...she was very kind and welcoming to my 3 lb. chihuahua dog, Tillie, too!

A Classic Bed and Breakfast

This was a great place for a weekend getaway. The guest house was beautifully decorated and the bed was quite comfortable. There was a large selection of music, DVDs and books for guest use. Full breakfast was served and the innkeeper asked if we would like anything specific. We requested omelets and were served such, along with bacon, biscuits and potatoes, everything tasty and with great presentation. Two downsides to mention: the bedrooms had multiple pieces of furniture in them, so there was not much floor space for luggage. Hotels.com listed this property as being near Astoria, OR, but not the direction and in reality, even though it was 29 miles, it took 45 minutes to get there on winding roads, not really what I would consider near.

Beautidul, quiet retreat.

We a pent two nights here in late May. The house is beautiful and very quiet and comfortable Ginger is a wonderful host and the breakfasts were delicious. We would stay here again when in Long Beach.
