"Staff was very friendly and helpful. One downfall is we couldn’t check in until 5:00. Kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast. Rooms are spacious with great views. We also love the location."
"Love that this hotel was dog friendly however, there is no grass anywhere close to the property and the area’s we were directed to were full of trash and unkept. 2 very small patches of grass on the property were also unkempt with in picked up feces. Our room had visible dust and cob webs in obvious places as well as small dead bugs on most window ledges. I love the room set up. We booked the room for 3 adults but when we arrived there were amenities for two people . The sofa bed was not ready to use and we had to call for sheets when we got back late and had to make up the bed ourself. They seemed to be really short on staff at their restaurant I had to wait 10 minutes as the waitress told me she couldn’t help me as she was busy. I went to the indoor pool and the humidity and heat were so high I had to leave. The pool water was very hot and not usable. Pool also looks like it needs an update."
"This is the first time we stayed here and we loved it. We stayed as a family of 4 visiting family in the area. Rooms were very clean and big! We loved the tall ceilings, large spacious bathroom and shower. Casino was smoke free and clean, we loved the lounge that was in the middle of the casino that allowed us to have some drinks, talk and watch TV. Never tried the cafe or buffet, but both looked good. Pool and hot tub were clean, back patio was gorgeous and very calming in the morning. All staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay here again. Beds, pillows and the couch in the room were all super comfortable. It was nice to be able to walk down the hall to get some quiet adult time and walk back to our room.
CONS:
1. they don't use fitted sheets on the bed, they use a flat sheet. I had to constantly tuck it in to stay fitted. The sheets also felt like rough toilet paper. I eventually got used to it.
2. No microwave in the rooms. We had a dorm fridge with lots of leftovers, but no way to eat them bc we didn't have a microwave to heat them up.
3. Hot tub jets didn't work. I got them to work once, bc the maintenance man was there and I think he flipped them on for me. He said it takes a bit for them to turn on, I did multiple cycles of jets after the first time they worked and they never worked.
These cons wouldn't deter me from staying here again."
