"The view is what sells the apartment .. it's all downhill from there really. Or should I say 'uphill' as there are 53 steps and 4 potholed paths to get to and from the top apt. Had the number of steps been advertised I would not have booked a stay at the Cove. There is quite a lot of noise from the road and railway which runs right outside. If the look they were going for was 'shabby chic' .. they certainly achieved 'Shabby' ! Walls marked and plaster crumbling away in various places. ...

"Property is located in a nice area in camps bay. However the flat is very basic, cleanliness is a problem with ants and flies all over the place. We were promised daily house keeping but only received it once during 5 days. The communication from the host Roxanne was sub par. The flat was very hot and there was no fan or AC, we asked for a fan right after check in but despite several reminders Roxanne didn't reply or organise a fan during our 5 day stay.
