I try to stay here when working at Brands Hatch because of the convenience, about a mile. The rooms are spacious, with a great bed and refreshing shower. The restaurant serves excellent food with a good variety to choose from when stopping there for 4 nights. The staff are all friendly and courteous.
Excellent staff, Paige and Ben were super helpful and made our stay excellent.
Food great.
Rooms slightly noisy when fully occupied but to be expected with this type of establishment
Warm welcome with good food and good beer.
Staff excellent and new chef first class.
Comfortable room.
Happy to recommend without hesitation.
Particular thanks to Megan
Positives - staff were friendly.
Negatives - we had to swap rooms as Bed was broken, no signal, sheets were dirty and TV didn’t work
Orders food at 5pm - it took one and a half hours to cook four burgers and a scampi - I had to ask the staff in the end.
Staff were fantastic. As a result of a late ending to racing I was too late for the evening menu. A short phone call to the Pub ordered sandwiches for when I got back. They were ready for me as soon as I got in.
Food was excellent and have chosen 3 courses, I wondered if I was going to be able to eat it all.
It was good value and if I was in summer would have been great to use outdoor beer gardens etc,
I cannot praise the staff enough for the way they treated us. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was great and very reasonably priced.
Great to be able to eat have a drink and not need to drive.
I would not hesitate to return.
Many thanks to all of the team.
Very convenient for visiting Brands Hatch. Good parking at the property. Nice room with on suite. TV and kettle. Side entrance so don't have to walk through the pub to get to room is convenient. Nicely kept with sitting area outside.
I stay here when working at Brands because of the comfort of the accommodation and the convenience of being so close. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and particularly comfortable. Great shower. Restaurant and bar food is good although the menu seems to have been condensed since earlier in the year. Just gets slightly more restrictive when staying 4 nights. The only downside is parking is a bit limited when arriving back from the circuit later.
I try to stay here when working at Brands Hatch as it is just so convenient. Room are spacious, with great facilities, eg power points, fan, desk, sofa etc. Bed is very comfortable for a decent nights sleep and the rooms are very quiet. Great shower in the morning. Great food in the restaurant downstairs.
Things to note, the car park is fairly small and if the restaurant is busy parking when you arrive in the evening can be tricky. Service this time in the restaurant was VERY slow on one of the three nights where it took an hour to be served the starter. There was a group in the following evening who didn't get their meals (despite having pre-ordered) until gone 9:30. That being said the food is worth waiting for. The final point is the Rising Sun Inn doesn't serve breakfast or evening meals on Sunday.
The staff were great, the food was very good. The property was clean and tidy and the room was fine. Unfortunately the walls between rooms are very thin and therefore noisy. The head of my bed must back onto another room’s bathroom so through the night what seemed very close to my head was the noise of people going toilet every couple hours! I never slept!!
Hi my stay with u was nice. Lovely view of horses which helped. Quiet,Room was great but…
The beds were way too soft good for kids.
Then the shower, the water sprayed all round the bathroom as shower head didn’t fit n leaked haaa and when some one used the water else where there was no water-and went cold. Not hot enough either
Sorry this was an issue but no one to ask to fix in the morning so hey ho plz sort for next guest plz
Breakfast 😳 was good. Could have been a tad more and cereal may b on offer
All round it has great potential best place for me to get to brands hatch. Not worth the £100 a night a few tweaks be great then
Thank you
Will definitely be coming back and hopefully little snags put right
Good luck
Sarah
Lovely pub serving great food with excellent rooms
As I was working at Brands Hatch this was ideally located being only a mile away from the circuit.
When I arrived on Friday evening the parking was very limited because of the popularity of this pub/restaurant.
Received a courteous welcome and shown to a large room with ample facilities, power points etc. The shower was excellent too.
The restaurant and bar service a mix of traditional pub meals and really good restaurant style food.
The only disappointment was on the Saturday evening when a couple decided to make a scene about the food they had (yet predominantly eaten before complaining!) Ironically I had ordered the exact same starter and main course as the gentleman and my food was excellent. The staff dealt with the, by now rude and foul mouthed couple, who eventually went on their way. I along with others that ate there including a table of say a dozen both Friday and Saturday all found the food to be great so maybe take any bad reviews with a pinch of salt! (Sorry.)
All in all a great little place with friendly staff, serving excellent food and close to Brands Hatch
