The grounds are really lovely. But the staff is really what made it for us. Douglas was so very helpful. Always with a smile on his face. Jared in the restaurant so kind. Then the Iranian valet older classy man in a linen suit who was the kindest most helpful person. He was so lovely to my son and his cousin. Joyful and very giving. He was beaming lovely energy. He was so very helpful. I also loved the nighttime restaurant manager a woman I believe named Gigi? She was lovely too. The front desk woman with strawberry blonde hair also lovely. Lots of gems there. Thanks for a lovely stay!

My date was a drunken mess but the property was fabulous. Highly recommend the beach club, Niko is amazing and takes care of every need while you are lounging and enjoying the private beach. Dog friendly resort and plenty of complimentary activities always happening on property like sound bowl events, coffee tastings, and the restaurant has some delicious offerings as well. Pool has great food & drink service and the chairs and setup are well spaced so you can feel like you are not being crowded and can relax.

Some of the best service I've ever experienced. It's expensive, but comes all-inclusive. Everything in your room is included. All property amenities are free. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The highest-end glamping experience you can have in LA. Will come back next time with the kids.

This was the most perfect location for a major birthday milestone. The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special, and we won't ever forget it. Close enough to drive 'into town' but far enough that you feel worlds away from everything and really take advantage of everything the property has to offer. This will not be our last time here.

The rooms are incredible the amenities need some work. No steam room or sauna, one jacuzzi constantly packed full of families and kids, pools not heated, one bar. Rooms are top notch, comfy beds, quality, tons of space. Spa services are good, but again lacks amenities that you’d get an a normal spa for very similar priced treatments max

Very Very Bad Food.

We really wish we were writing a more positive review... calamigos guest ranch itself is really gorgeous, the rooms are lovely and the staff is extra friendly but the food is so terrible that it made my fiance and I sick the entirety of our trip. Not only did it make us sick it just tasted so bad, was sloppily prepared, and was just very much so not worth what we were charged. This was so disappointing to us and made it so that we felt we could never come back unless we brought our own food. The restaurant which we went to for our special anniversary dinner was so bad that we had to send dishes back multiple times for being burnt, undercooked, overcooked, missing seasoning... the waiters themselves were apologizing horrified and even agreeing that their own food is terrible. No discounts were ever given on this terrible bad food that left us with stomach issues every single day of our trip.
