When the fire alarm was going off in our room, we called the front desk to find out if we needed to evacuate the building? We were abruptly hung up on without a word. As we were just about to leave the alarm went off!

This Hampton Inn is well located and sort of an island in a somewhat sketchy area. Its relatively close to public transportation and not too far from the major Hollywood tourist areas if you want to skip driving in L.A.

The hotel has a very good location, very close to several interesting destinations. Something to improve is the parking price, since the hotel has parking but they only have a valet option and it has an extra cost of $50 a day and the photos show an indoor and outdoor pool and it only has the outdoor one. Otherwise, very good service and cleanliness.

This hotel was clean and well taken care of. The only downside is the area surrounding the hotel seemed a little dirty and unsafe but it’s close to many tourist areas. Convenient location. Would stay again and highly recommend.

There appeared to be bed bugs. Me and my family have bites on our legs. The sofa bed springs was broken so the sofa bed could not be used. The sofa seat sank in when you tried to sit on the sofa. I asked for 3 extra pillows was given one and told they were out of extra pillows in the whole hotel. Was told I would get a call back if they could find more. No call back. Requested 3 extra towels. Was told they would check on availability of extra towels No call back.

Really convenient to everything! We flew in to see a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, and it was less than a 10 minute drive. We didn't need a rental car, as we walked to most everything we wanted to see. And it saved us the additional $50 per night parking fee. Very clean hotel, with a good breakfast.

The only thing I didn’t like was the $50 mandatory parking per day fee but they did bring out your car as soon as you need it . Overall rate it a 4-5 Stars great rooms & friendly staff very comfortable & clean stay .
