Good location and spacious, good price. Long-term dirt in many areas, fridge, backsplashes, on baseboards, master shower, wall plates all had dirt buildup on them. The place was a bit run down and not well maintained, 1 broken TP holder, 1 missing TP holder, blinds were messed up, splatters on walls, etc. No laundry product of any kind, not even for 1 or 2 loads. Bedding was synthetic, pillows were uncomfortable and Livingroom couch was very uncomfortable. Could hear the upstairs neighbors walking around loudly until at least 2AM. There was only 1 wash cloth, and no bathroom or kitchen hand towels, however the management did bring us some promptly. we were also notified shortly after checking in that a washing machine service tech would be entering and servicing the washing machine during our stay which was disruptive to our enjoyment of the apartment.

Good location, the place was lacking in facilities and support. The apartment itself was good with wooden floors and furniture, bedding as advertised. However, it was not professionally cleaned when we entered, and had visible dust on the floor. Few basic things were missing - sugar, bath soap etc. The thermostat did not work out of the box, and we had to "fix the settings" after spending anout 30 mins. The elevator in the building was out of order, and we had to walk down the stairs a few times. When we called for support, the overall help was underwhelming, and we were asked to "reimburse" missing things.

This was a great property for our recent vacation. Travelling with two pre-teen boys we needed more space and the opportunity for us to have centrally located places to eat that we could walk to. The two bedroom and two bathroom layout worked perfectly and having amenities such as a full kitchen and laundry was especially helpful. Communication was clear leading up to and throughout the stay. Would recommend and stay here again.

The apartmemt was perfect for our stay in Hollywood. The dedicated parking space was a huge help. It is very centrally located with all of our activities about 15-20 min away. The apartment was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and plenty of towels. Communication from the manager was excellent and all of the instructions were clear and accurate. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the spectacular LA views from this beautiful, modern apartment! Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. We paid to park in the parking garage, and it was well worth it. Elevator was fast. Pool was very nice. Security and front desk staffed 24/7. Loved this property!

Could not have asked for a better stay. Why stay in an average hotel when you can live in a luxury apartment in Hollywood for a few days, close to everything, with an amazing view and excellent decor?! Friendly staff, great communication, ideal parking, all at a more than reasonable price. Can't wait to come back and stay here again on my next trip to LA.

I travel for work in Hollywood, and this was a PERFECT location for where I needed to be. This apartment had all I needed for a home away from home, including a desk with a comfortable chair (how rare!), a useful living room area, a dining table and kitchen island with stools for work or meals, and a separate bedroom area and bathroom. With the kitchen and the washer/dryer in the unit, it beats any hotel stay. This area (no fault of the property) includes a notable unhoused population with tents and tarps on the street. I did not feel unsafe on these busy streets, but bring it up as it might be a consideration for some travelers when selecting a location to stay. Overall, a great location that I hope to come back to.

Bait and switch

Everything about this hotel was a bait and switch. First, the name. It is actually Hollywood Vue at Gordon an apartment building. As the real name implies it is on Gordon St, NOT Hollywood and Vine. The address is Gordon St. It is about a 10 minute walk to Hollywood and Vine. There was no city view like the pictures implied. Also, the sheets smelled horribly. We had to wash them. Plus the communication/rules are a bit absurd for a hotel. We were told to walk gently on the floors because they have thin floors. Check out was at 10am and check in was 4 pm. The towels were old. They charged extra cleaning fee even though Hotels.com states it is an all inclusive price.
