"The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Sam, who seemed to be everywhere, and the hotel grounds were picturesque and well kept. The food at the wedding we attended was excellent. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the shower worked well and was a good temperature. Our only slight issue was the shower screen, which was not fully watertight, resulting in water on the floor in the bathroom, which needed hand towels to mop up the excess water, We enjoyed our stay."

"The room was spotless staff lovely breakfast was great hot and continental on offer. Parking free . The rooms look a bit tired and dated but the bed was very comfortable. Shower could be hotter . But not worth complaining about . It was a much needed restful stay . No real complaints"

"There is no reception at the property so you need to be a bit more prepared than I was when you arrive. You need your key code to hand - which is easier to do before hand not when stood in the rain after a long drive with no reading glasses and little patience. That overcome (the info is in a mail and you can re-request) the room was of a good standard and the bed was really comfortable and the shower was hot and with good pressure. The tea and coffee facilities (including a pod machine) looked of good standard, although I didn't use due to only spending a short time in the room. Parking is not ideal as you can only book via council or ringgo 4 hours with then free parking between 10pm and 8pm, which is ok if you arrive after 6. This meant I had to move the car to the a side road which was about a 5 minute walk away. Above small issues aside and knowing the issues before hand would book again."

"The room was listed as a premium room, this was not the case. The room spelt of damp, with a moisture absorber hidden behind the chest of drawers in the room. So the hotel obviously recognised this issue. My stay was during a heatwave and the room was extremely warm, this was aided by the radiator in the bathroom having no thermostat and on full heat. The pictures used in the advertising of the room did not reflect the premium room booked. A very disappointing stay. The room also overlooked an industrial compound, which was illuminated by floodlights which lit the room."

"Lovely hotel. Stayed with my wife for her birthday. We had a deluxe room which was quite a long walk from hotel reception. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was massive! Only negative points for the room were the amount of cobwebs and dust around light fittings and soundproofing between rooms. We could clearly hear people in other rooms using their toilet facilities. We used the pool which was warm and changing room was clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast was superb, there is loads of choices and it is all fresh and delicious! Overall we were pleased with our stay here and would happily stay again."
