"Normally we have a great stay. This time was not a good experience. The first night our door latch broke they moved us to another room and the man at the desk was great and said our new room would be available at 3 the next day a younger girl was working and chided me for asking for another room bc someone can sleep on the pullout couch we asked and paid for a 2 queen bed room no one should have to sleep on a couch. She was extremely rude. And she huffed and walked away mumbling something and refused to come back out until the phone rang and she had to answer it. The new room had no working ac. And the next night a large group of teens were running in halls jumping off their beds above us knocking on doors and running away. They knew the hotel staff and no one stopped them it went on from 8pm to just after midnight and they didn't leave the pool until after 11pm. Just overall not a pleasant experience."
"We were disappointed the bed was supposed to be a queen ended up with a full the exhaust fan didn't work door to the bathroom came off the hinges the one sink leaked both cold and hot and when it was fixed it was put on backwards "
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kent - University Area by IHG
4/10 Poor
"The rooms were very small . If you are wanting to pay extra for a nicer room with a Jacuzzi don't do it. It's not worth it. . I've stayed in better hotels for half of the price and I've traveled from East Coast to the west coast."
"Our stay at the Comfort Inn Cuyahoga Falls was average. All of the staff and people at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. The lady working in the breakfast area in the morning was doing an outstanding job keeping up. The hotel itself and the rooms are not new and showing some age. Our room had a very bad smell- kind of like wet towels. There was a pool party happening while we were there, so kids were everywhere and playing on the staircase every time we went up or down. Definitely not a quiet atmosphere. Not the best experience, but also not the worst."
"The staff was super friendly and helpful, breakfast was tasty, dinner was great too. Loved the views of the river from the restaurant. It was surprisingly quiet for hosting a wedding that evening, and because of how busy it was for the Rubber Duck Festival! We didn't use them, but the pool and the exercise room both looked great. The location was walkable and fun for lots going on this weekend!"
