Long walk to ladies market 45 min - but did it multiple times and very interesting walk if you dont mind a few miles. Room overlooked bay had two bedrooms and a kitchen - was like an apartment. Lobby is kind of small - but nice shared space with vie of pay on 10th floor. Kitchen was awesome for us as we ate home two nights which was a big relief from eating out after two weeks travelling. The driver was also very friendly and easy to talk to, and he gave us some practical and helpful advice. The bed was very large and comfortable, and there was a wide selection of TV channels for guests to choose from. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay."

The only negative I would say was that the joinery in the room needs attending to or replacing as it was tired. "I like to stay here on slightly longer trips because you get the bigger space and the little kitchen that can come in useful, especially the fridge and microwave. The situation is pretty quiet for Hong Kong, being up a small alleyway and away from the noise on Queens Road East. However, noise from other guests was irritating at times. You also need to know that there’s a very steep incline ramp to get up to the hotel from where a taxi will probably drop you, I really wouldn’t like to do it in business shoes in the wet. Wan Chai is a fascinating area, relatively a few western tourists make it here and the street market bustle can make progress through the streets a little slow, but I prefer it to The somewhat sterile malls of Central"
