"Clean room and excellent staff. "

"The room and bathroom were clean and the AC worked well. The front desk was very helpful and kind. The pool was nice and cold, but a little dirty. We still enjoyed swimming and were happy to have the amenity to burn energy. Best part - it's 15 min from Carlsbad Caverns. We were able to leave the park, come to the hotel to rest, and go back at sunset for bat viewing. Would stay here again if in the area."

"We enjoyed our stay here! It is very well kept with wonderful, helpful staff. It is in a great location. The rooms are spacious with a seating area as well as a mini fridge and microwave."

"Check-in was long even with online pre check the night before. Check out was frustrating because we requested for a late departure online. It just said pending even after housekeeping knocked and we rushed to check out on time. 30 minutes after we were on the road they finally emailed me saying it was denied."

"This hotel is located toward the dustier end of Carlsbad and despite this, the entire property is very clean, as was the room/bathroom. The breakfast was hot and tasty, coffee was good and the staff was constantly asking if there was anything I needed. Overall I had a very pleasant stay and will definitely stay here again."

"Motel was okay for what we paid. Little disappointed their ice machine wasn’t working so had to go find ice for our drinks. I booked the motel since it indicated they had a pool and breakfast included with the stay. There was no pool. They did serve a hot breakfast but the dining area was not air conditioned and was hot. "Be mindful of the directions when using maps. It routed us an hour out of the way thru a dark, isolated canyon with no wifi. Once we backtracked out of the canyon, the owner sent me her location and we found it. She is concerned and will get with tech to fix that. She checked us in with our late night arrival.
