"This location was very clean. The only things that we had an issue with was the room number was not on my itinerary so I had to call customer service to receive that info and also the supply room where you can self serve yourself to any items you wanted to buy the Cody they gave me was wrong and I couldn’t access, but other then those two things I will book again! Highly recommended."

"Five stars! With a property circa 1830 (so much charm), I didn’t expect such a quiet luxe experience—great bed, pillows, and linens, soft robes, perfect in-room coffee service, convenient for plugging in all your modern technology, well thought-out lighting, very tasteful decor (in keeping with the history of the place, but elegant, well thought-out, and uncluttered) and super clean. Totally charming and comfortable. The breakfast was terrific and inviting — and the touches of elegance and design extended to the serveware and freshly cut and arranged wildflowers on the tables. Finally, the staff was beyond reproach. So welcoming, friendly, and at the ready to help with anything. I was so pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. We stayed in the Monticello room which was on the small side but perfectly serviceable. We stayed at the Inn because we were visiting Pippin Winery (for a second time) for lunch—which is a must if you’re in the area. The food is inventive and delicious, the setting is picture perfect, the service is friendly and approachable, and the wines blew me away—IMHO better by a country mile than what was on offer at Barboursville, Chiswell Farms, or Afton vineyards. Highly recommend!"

"From the minute you step out of your car you are greeted with an insane moment of “wow”. Right in front of the hotel is a beautiful scenery from up top overlooking the area. You feel like you are in a different world. Then after walking in, we are greeted with kind faces who wonderfully explain your stay. Now lets talk about the room. Been to plenty of hotels in my life and this one is by far the most inviting and comforting. With plans ahead the following days my wife and I had trouble getting up due to the comfort! lol i couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Oh and by the way, grab a bite for dinner there as well, you wont be disappointed."

"The property was recently refurbished and done well. My room was clean though it could have been scrubbed a bit better in the bathroom. The AC unit worked but I believe the unit should have been replaced. All in all a good stay."
