Fab room, everything you need is there for a comfy stay. Super quiet room, comfy bed. Didn't head down to the restaurant, but it was busy for dinner each night so must be good! Staff were helpful and friendly. Will stay again when in the area.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! Our room was spotless and luxurious. Loved the complimentary coffee and tea. Room service was amazing and staff were very friendly. We took our 11 month with us and the staff were very accommodating supplying a Portacot. We had breakfast down stairs as well and the lovely staff member would hold and entertain our baby boy when he got a bit restless and let us finish our breakfast. Will definitely be back and highly recommend ☺️

Booked a river view room at a higher price. I wouldn't class the room as river view had to stand in the corner of the bedroom to get a glimpse of the river. Hotel was not busy booked for two nights via expedia, felt they gave us this room because we paid less.

Well appointed and stylish room.
Parking is either on the street or a Wilson parking garage 200m down the road at $20 night. As a solo female traveller, I would recommend the street parking.
On site restaurant is a convenient offering as there isn’t much else close, and they offer room service, takeaway and dine in.
Unfortunately there was no hot water; so it was a cold shower to start the day.
Based on other reviews, I skipped the continental breakfast.
Disappointing, after previous stays with other properties in the Sebel group.

We had an excellent stay at The Sebel Wellington. Check-in was quick and smooth, with staff who were not only professional but also genuinely warm and helpful throughout our visit.
The room was modern, spacious, and very comfortable — everything we needed to feel at ease. We also enjoyed the restaurant, which offered a fine dining experience with delicious food and attentive service.
Overall, we felt well looked after from start to finish and would definitely recommend The Sebel Wellington for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

First time staying at the Sebel in lower Hutt. 10/10 experience. The front desk staff were professional, kind & efficient.
Definitely will rebook
Hopefully they will develop more room service options than the one restaurant menu only

Breakfast was really bad. A steak and cheese pie is not a breakfast. The coffee was cold. And the only coffee that was hot was flatwhite and then they expected us to pay for it. We weren’t the only ones who complained. The breakfast needs to be a whole lot better.
Beautifully presented new hotel. The staff from, reception to housekeeping are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very well organised, very quiet and the blackout curtains are brilliant. I was in town overnight for business and the Sebel was perfect, it exceeded expectations. I have already booked my next stay.
