Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel. Food was excellent and all the staff worked hard, were very friendly and pleasant. Decor lovely and although initial glitch with room this was sorted immediately, with apologies. Our only comment was that our room faced the rear and beer deliveries were early and noisy. Other than that excellent stay. Would highly recommend.

Shining example from start to finish

Wonderfull overall experience, from chexk in to check out. Food and service were both to a very high standard and msde our trip one to remember A big thanks to Rosie who served our grouo always with a big smile. We will definitely be back

It will Hog all the awards..like what I did there?

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, the staff - John/Agata/Rosie were amongst the best I have seen. From the moment I arrived John made me feel welcome, with warmth and profession attitude I knew I had been recommended a good hotel. Every attention to detail, every request all carried out with impeccable professionalism. The room was comfy, the WIFI was strong (It does make a difference). The food was on another level, its worth the 6 hour drive just for the food. Massive compliments to the chef, a true difference maker. The Waitress Rosie was friendly, but in a professional manner which made dining a pleasure (please pass on my many thanks). Breakfast was lovely. I could rant and rave about this all day long. I had been recommended this hotel by a friend instead of my usual one, I will be forever grateful for the advice, as this is now the hotel of choice.

Well Above expectations

This small hotel punches well above its weight in terms of decor (been completely renovated with a contemporary style just prior to pandemic) and food. Feels like a brand new hotel! Had dinner and breakfast, both of which had top quality ingredients cooked to perfection and a nicely varied menu. Service also went well above expectations - helpful and efficient. If you are looking to visit Lowestoft/North Suffolk, this is a great base.

Absolutely wonderful hotel - perfect in all aspects felt new and rooms, facilities, service and the setting were al just great. Highly recommend the food something for everyone and such a high standard.came here on business but would return with my partner for a weekend!

Very desirable, close to attractive Suffolk Coast

This is a lovely hotel, placed within walking distance of the beautiful Suffolk Coast. An easy drive southwards takes in tourist hot-spots such as Southwold and Dunwich, which are unique. The restaurant is outstanding, as were the helpful staff. Overall, very desirable.

Home from Home

The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Bed very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities excellent with fresh milk a welcome change from capsules!
