There weren't a lot of places to stay in this town. Staff was wonderful but by the time I paid for the room and our fury, I found it quite expensive for the value and the area. I am always surprised how few hotels in south Texas are pet friendly.

Room was super clean and bed was comfortable. The staff was great. If you are needing to drive to Spur regularly-this is not the best choice as the roads as SUPER dangerous at night due to all the deer and boar. It also takes at least 45 minutes one-way. It was originally advertised as 25-30 minutes away. Super easy trip to Lubbock though!

i never thought about finding a hotel like this in Post, TX, in the middle of nowhere land. after an 8hr drive we were thankful for a pleasant receptionist and comfortable rooms. will stay again when back that way.
