"It’s a beautiful former palace with upscale accommodations & a wonderful staff!"

"A well located hotel, just outside the city walls, close to the train station but quiet despite being on a main road.Parking is available. The inclusive spa is a lovely treat, especially if you book this for your arrival day, after travelling in. All staff are customer focussed, helpful, polite and pleasant. Breakfast is very good, plenty to choose from with healthy options and sweet treats. The fish restaurant next door was really nice and had a good choice of meals and wines. Our room (65) was well equipped and a decent size, as was the bathroom but the small shower cubicle was a disappointment given the overall size of the bathroom."

"Location is great, only a short walk to centre of Lucca. The free parking was useful. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The B&B is right next to a very busy road and you do hear the traffic in your room. Ear plugs were provided though, just something to be mindful of. Breakfast was okay."

"This is a bare bones hotel. Front desk is only staffed on a part time basis. If you need anything ask the cleaning staff. No breakfast, coffee, or vending machines. Nicely remodeled though."

"Room was run down and the breakfast was included in the past but not now. Staff said that the name change and rebranding was meant to attract business people but there were no working outlets in the room and no usb or other charging outlets apart from one socket in the bathroom. Very inconvenient. The place was much nicer to stay at in the past 15 years but has been let down by its owners sadly. "
