A lovely stay

We found the relais particularly comfortable. The room was spacious, high ceilings, great light, tasteful period furnishings and a fridge! We decided to stay 2 extra days and do day trips from there.

Calm hotel just outside the city wall

A really, nice and quiet hotel just outside the city wall. It takes you 3minutes to walk through the wall entrance and your inside Lucca. If we had not arrived by car I would have rated this 5star, but there were some confusion regarding the parking. We chose this hotel because parking was written as 2€/day in the description. We considered other hotels too, but since they wanted 10€/day we specifically booked this hotel … turns out the host wanted 10€/day I tried to say that we read in the the description 2€/day, but that was a fruitless question. So the description should be updated! Turns out parking was a little complicated so here is a description to avoid future misunderstandings. Right side of the road: Free parking 🤑 Left side: pays parking 8€/day At the end of the private road (turn right) the host offers parking for 10€/day. See also photos.

It is advertised as a Bed and Breakfast but in fact it starts June 01 through October. The shower was leaking from underneath and cause a pool of water in the bathroom. You could see previous damage of the walls and floor. The house is locate from a short walking distance to the historic city center walls which is convenient.

A quelques minutes de la vieille ville de Lucca

Relais Puccini est situé à 15 min de la gare ferroviaire est à proximité de Porta Sant'Anna pour accéder dans la vieille ville. Lucia est disponible, à l'écoute et a le sens du partage. J'avais la chambre 1, au rez-de-chaussée au calme, très spacieuse et climatisée.

Struttura semplice e romantica. La pulizia non si discute. Peccato che il meteo ha messo in luce una pecca climatica. Arrivati intorno alle 17:00 il riscaldamento si era appena avviato. Un vero peccato dover passare il resto del pomeriggio vestiti sotto le coperte.

Property owner didn’t have our booking would accommodate for the full time of our holiday and we had to move accommodation. Only there for 4 nights and this completely ruined the holiday wasted so much time trying to find somewhere else to stay. Even though we had booked before the others people and they were only staying for one night they wouldn’t honour the reservation. They did find us an alternative but that meant sleeping on a sofa bed in the kitchen. Not ideal

Lovely large room with private courtyard. Small bathroom (shower) but this seems to be the norm in Italy. Fantastic location a few minutes walk from the wall surrounding the old part of the city. Was advertised as having breakfast available a short distance away but this wasn't the case. No breakfast at all

Nice room. No amenities, staff, nor facilities. Never saw owner/staff after checking for 2 days. Very noisy corner alley....constant alarms, traffic, more alarms. It's called B&B but no breakfast. Lousy expresso unit, one or 2 kinds of tea. No mini fridge nor microwave. Bathroom is cramped. No room to sit in toilet, legs crash into bidet. Shower is tiny. Price is suitable for modest place but way too much $ for the problems, discomfort, lack of amenities, absence of staff.

Essenziale. Difficile da trovare la prima volta, ma molto vicino a una delle porte delle mura. Il parcheggio andava prenotato e io non lo sapevo. Comunque ha solo tre posti però poco distante l'ho trovato non a pagamento. La colazione è a un bar poco lontano

Чудесный номер в коттедже.В нашем номере на 1 этаже был свой собственный дворик - паттио. В номере чисто, красиво. И от вокзала, и до центра Лукки шли пешком минут 20-30. Даже завтрак в кафе (кофе с булочками) в окружении итальянцев очень понравился. Незабываемо!

La struttura, aperta da poco, si trova appena fuori le mura di Lucca, quindi comodissima per raggiungere a piedi il centro. Le camere sono pulite e confortevoli ed arredate con gusto. I proprietari sono 2 ragazzi molto gentili e disponibili a dare informazioni e consigli su cosa visitare in città e attenti alle esigenze dei clienti, accogliendo e cercando di soddisfare le richieste degli ospiti.

Appena aperto in un bel palazzo; camere ristrutturate a nuovo con arredi in stile e originali metà ‘900. Ottima la pasticceria convenzionata dove fare colazione con il voucher; è un po’ distante per cui, se vai di fretta o quando piove, può essere un problema.....
